Where are all the chicks at today? I wasn’t on BYC much yesterday. Some how I lost tract of who’s in lock down. @Iluveggers for sure is but who else?

Today at 3 is day 20 for my one egg under my broody, but it has an external pip

Two pips when I left at 8. Going home at noon so hopefully I didn’t miss anything!

Love to see all the chicks! My broody is on Day 14 so 1 more week left. A couple of the other hens have been kicking her out of the nest box cause they want to lay in there. She doesn’t stay out long but hopefully it doesn’t delay the hatch.

Update I went out and candled, all of them are trying to internally pip, I could see them pushing against the membrane!

4 pips now! One of them has a bigger crack than when I checked this morning!

Just went out to check on the broody and 2 of her eggs were missing. Something going on in there with the other hens I think, or it could be crows taking eggs. I am going to take her remaining 6 eggs & put them in the incubator to finish. I’ll give her a couple fake eggs to sit on & give her back the chicks when they hatch.
