How warm is your house and what incubator do you have? I have an Incuview and it runs hot when indoor temperature goes over 80F. There's a room temperature setting that I have to change every afternoon to get it to stay in the correct temperature range. I don't know if other incubators have this problem but the incuview comes programmed for a room that's between 70-80F.
I candled the eggs a little while ago. I have two that I believe are trying to pip. The others I simply couldn't see for sure.
I am increasing the humidity some.
I guess I will see what happens over the next day or two.
Usually within 12 hours, I find my Faverolles tend to go fast, but that might not be true for all.So I didn’t accidentally drown them. Some have actually externally pipped. The Welsummer, Fayoumi, and a couple of the unknown eggs pipped overnight! My incubator is also stable once again on 99.5 degrees and 63% humidity. How long after these pips can I expect zipping and hatching?
