Kalmbach 20% Flock maker

My littles are now over two months and we switched from purina to this bc we were reading how Purina isn’t good. I’m hoping This is a better move. We bought a huge 50 lb bag. Lmk your thoughts. Can I feed this until they start laying?

Kalmbach is good feed. You can feed it for the rest of their lives, just provide a separate container of oyster shell on the side for their calcium needs.

Kalmbach Flock Maker is what I feed my birds. I have 5 hens, 5 pullets, 1 rooster. They get oyster shell and crushed egg shells on the side. I've been feeding this for well over a year now, and like it a lot. So do the chickens.

You can feed them this for the rest of their lives.

Their poops seemed to have gotten larger bc of it… or maybe I’m just seeing things.

Purina is perfectly fine.an So is kalmbach.

It’s what we feed for laying and non-laying hens. Just be sure to provide oyster shell as well for the layers

Probably just because the birds have gotten larger and eat more.

Thank you for posting this question and for the answers! My usual pellet feed is no longer available at our local Cal Ranch. Some issue, they said, at the warehouse. Was looking for another 20% feed at a reasonable price that is still good for my flock.

I got mine from chewy.
