Some of them are huge!!!! Like that black one. What breed is it?

Right!? I think those are the boys LOL one of the Welsummers is MASSIVE as is the Rhode Island Red and the Easter Egger and some combs are developing too :hit

Which black one? There’s two. The solid black one of the one with white/yellow down on its chest? That one I think is the Black Australorp but the Blue Andalusian is big too. And the “blue” turned out to be black lol

They wouldn’t hold still and they’re still not completely fluffed up so this is the best I could do LOL

I’ll get better ones when they fully fluff out and they’re a little less brand new to the world haha

Forgot to post this here earlier but I got the chicks moved this morning.

Unfortunately, these are the best pictures I could do. Didn’t have time for a photo shoot, just wanted to get them moved.

And here’s a video lol

Here’s all the pictures I have of them so far. :D

I can feel your excitement through the post!! Have fun!

You'd have to search. I haven't lived there for 7 years, but my friends tell me about them sometimes. I know there are lots of good breeders you can connect with at the fairs.
The only show I know of happens the week after the Deerfield Fair on the fairgrounds. I know of no breeders up here, does your friend have good links for this info?? I would love fresh leads...

The chicks have grown so much even just from like a week and a half ago :hit

Brooder was a bit of a disaster but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Shavings everywhere, all over the house, and some high and low spots in the brooder from where they’ve kicked/dug around, and of course they get the food and water filthy insanely fast because of their antics, but honestly besides that it’s not that bad. :lau

They definitely need to go outside though. :lau

Before.

And cute chick pics after I refilled everything. Or as best as I could do since they wouldn’t hold still. :lau

I'm glad mine are all outside. The feathered feet chicks ALL are with my bigger chickens :ththey slipped through the kennel. The brahmas both look like pullets... So far. We lost 2, but that's not bad. They're all looking like pullets, but I'll wait and see. I think they're 2 weeks older than yours.
