my halloween babies are fully feathered too but still want their heat!! i’ve got to try to wean them off it this week and move them to the aviary next weekend.

I've been shutting it off during the day and putting it on at night. DH thinks they'll be good. I've never had chicks feather this fast!

You don't brush them. It's like having dreads, it's a lot of work!

I’m playing broody hen and chick sounds to them and staring at the incubator.... I think I’ve gone crazy.

Did find another external pip though and I heard one chirp.

Just found a heat bulb I still have from when I got my first chicks, bought it right before I read about MHP, but don’t have the housing for it
