I wonder if for some of my smaller plants, I can just put some holes in a tall water basin and use that as a shallow pot. We have some that are like 5~ cm deep, is that still too shallow for small, unestablished succulents?

I wasn't sure about established ones just because particularly the ones I planted yesterday were so established their toots went too deep (about 6 inches deep) and I was having a very difficult time not breaking them when trying to make them a bit more shallowThat's perfectly fine for both established and unestablished succulents
