Thoughts on this?! It's a pretty high percentage of Permethrin (although there was one 45%!), but everything else was pyrethrum, and had a lot of extra ingredients...

which one of us are you asking? I use sand and clay/dirt from the yard for the dust bath and add sulfur
permethrin garden dust is different chemical than sevin dust

I don't think you need to mix that. The stuff we use here is 0.25% I think.

What product do you use that's 0.25%? That's the same percentage as I found... I'm debating maybe spraying it at full power in the coop/roost, and then adding some water to the jug and spraying the birds with the diluted stuff...

I don't see why you couldn't use it. Others have used flea spray for mites. Does it state not to spray directly on animals? I would do as you stated in the other post. Spray the roost and coop full and dilute it for the chickens.
