I don't think it can breath unless you make it a hole right?

NO CLUE.
I think this is why most of the time twins have to be helped.
There is no room for them to move in there.

Making an air hole makes sense because I don't know how it wouldn't suffocate otherwise but I've never hatched anything so...
And yeah I can understand why they need to be helped.

Y’all, I don’t have any idea.

I don’t want to rush them since the yolk sacs are taking longer to absorb than I’d like. Air is getting into the egg as the hole is nice and big so I don’t think the other will suffocate if it’s still alive.

It looks like there are two moving things in there but honestly it’s so hard to tell. The egg is completely dark apart from the hole and broken into air cell.

The pip that already there is a side pip(external pip and not thru air cell )...
..who knows where the other beak is, you can only hope it can pip.
Good Luck and Good Night y'all!
It’s through the air cell there. I let the air cell get nice and big on this double for that reason. I checked when it first pipped to make sure it was in the AC though.

We weren't asking you silly.
We are just talking it out.

You know...wasting time while we wait.
I just was lost with the "two" earlier.

No no no. Don't rush anything. I'm just thinking out loud here, trying to understand how this stuff works. I find it fascinating! Besides, I think you must be doing something right for the twins to make it this far. :clap I think all you can do is monitor it closely and do the best you can. So many people are here for you if you need them to be. :hugs

Thank you guys :hugs I’m trying my best to get these babies out. The sit back and wait approach is working much better than hover the incubator and hope something changes. I’m just glad to have 6 healthy babies! That one had me so worried earlier.

Luckily our incubator is a forced air so even if the babies wanted to try and suffocate now they couldn’t. I have the egg near the fan so it’s circulating the air through the egg, but also not drying it out hopefully.
