LPHF Blue Australorps Hatching Thread

If I had an incubator, I would probably be REALLY tempted to try and do some hatching myself. Especially since I know both my duck eggs and chicken eggs are fertile. Babies, babies and more babies!

Even though he is white, if I tried to hatch an egg that came from one of the black australorps, the chicks would be black right? Black is dominant correct? And if it was one from Amber (NH Red), it would be....? A lighter red with maybe white leakage? And from Priscilla (buff orp), it would just be a lighter buff with white leakage? As for colors anyway. Am I close in my understanding, do you know?

Okay.

Black Australorps - Yes black chicks, probably a darker skin color too.

Buff - Buff with potential white leakage, probably look more buff, and potential darker skin.

NHR - Gold/orange with potential white leakage and potential darker skin.

All with the probability of extra toes and different texture feathers

I don't have a clue either. I thought I saved that calculator thing but I guess I didn't. I think he will make some fluffy/fuzzy babies with some interesting hairdos lol! I bet they would be cuties!
