Hmm..this would be very tempting to get in on. My step son is doing his senior project on incubating chicken eggs, so maybe we could start them that day. Or I could use this as an excuse to get the delaware's that I want! Anyone know where I can come across some eggs?
I just did my first incubation and had 15 out of 19 hatch. I honestly think my husband had just as much fun with it as I did.
OK...I just sent hubby a message about my thoughts...he said that he wants white cornish and plymouth rock. Anyone have any extra eggs around for either?

That happens to me a lot. It seems to be worse after Kelly makes a visit. Hmm
Doesn't make it any less of a boy by me pointing it out.
I can't help that you are in denial.
Denial? Me?
Wonder how SHE'D look with a feather cut???
If I pluck what I think may be saddle feathers wil she be she again.
Just means I need more chickens
Yeah like I need a hole in my head. OH yeah, I already have one of those

No, no, no, not you wolftracks! That message was for Mary. She said it gets worse when Kelly visits........I'm Kelly and I pointed out her "hen" that was really a rooster.
Hurry, hurry, hurry! We want you to join the party! Come on, Kelly!!!
Sigh. No it's not done yet. There's not much left to do, but I can't do the rest by myself, I need hubby's help. And between his schedule and the rain, it just hasn't happened yet.
ETA: I have to build the people door and hang it, clean up the big rocks in the run, and fence the last side of the run and it will be done.
