haha you are too funny! I'm glad you're back on the forum again!

Me too! I miss my PC when it goes down. I feel like such a simpleton, sitting in front of the monitor, knowing it doesn't work, but trying to "will" it on with my eyeballs!
lol.png
Works much better now, although I still don't have it set just right yet.

haha willing it to work... I wish that worked! I'd have saved lots of money over the years!

Oh yes! Just the darned monitor cost $160.00! When the willing doesn't work, the whacking might. It did one time then the old one died...

Did any of you on the West Coast feel that earthquake that hit Alaska?? They had Tsunami warnings out, wonder if they had one??

You just made my day! Looks like I will be asking my bestest friend if I can borrow her Wheatens for a while too! She'll think I have gone and lost my mind.....wait...nevermind, it's been lost for a long time, so it's all good.

I always wore boots when haying. Trying to shuck pants on with boots can be traumatizing! I'm still wondering this morning how I didn't fall over and bust my noggin while running around with drawers on my ankles, and the dog jumping on me!

Amazing what adrenaline can do for ya!!

yours and Illia's pictures so then I had to try some and they are worse than chips.......These birds are from my Mr Splish and Black Copper hens these are my most favorite colors right now so I'll see how they finish up first is Splish

here are the hens

I spent the late spring and summer hatching their "babies" testing which helped me cull out 3 hens remember I'm still learning about chicken breeding so now I have 4 hens who's babies I really like.

These two have the prettiest color I have a couple of others who have a deeper mahogany cast in the copper but these look like they are on fire the camera doesn't do them justice hopefully when it gets green around here I can take some more pictures

ROTFL.....oh how I wish I had a video of that!!! I bet you almost had a heart attack. Your silkies probably thought you had gone mad!!!
I thought it was bad when, yesterday, I almost walked right into a huge orb weaver spider. SHe was hanging down from a silvery web string from an oak branch in the middle of the yard, right about eye level. I was walking back up to the house from feeding the chooks. I felt something on my face and iccckkkk it was this huge yellow and black spider. I ike spiders but not in my face, when I'm not expecting them LOL!

ugh!!! That has happened to me with a different kind of spider. What do I hate more than anything in this world? SPIDERS!!! Just reading that gave me the heeby geebys....so disgusting. That reminds me that its coming to that time of year when spiders and mice are going to start making their way into the buildings and try to get in the house. One slipped in the back door the other night....I about died it was about 3 1/2 inches across...and was partially transluscent and brown...it was DISGUSTING!

This pic is just for you

Not the same spider as I walked into yesterday. There are huge spiders are all over the place here.

You need some sweat pants that have the elastic around the bottom of the legs lol.

That spider is not one we have around here, he's not as pretty as our Garden Spiders. Those things can get huge. They also build a huge web, and they are pretty friendly as far as spiders go. I had one make a web in the corner of the deck, by the door. She really got excited when I would come back from the run, as she knew I'd have a meal worm for her. I'd toss it in her web, and she would suck them down like spaghetti! It was neat to watch. Either the wind got rid of her or a chook, but there are more in other locations. With all those mealworms, she got to be about the size of a quarter (bodywise), not the biggest one I've had, but very pretty....for a spider.

Here is a link to them. Mine are very vibrant black and yellow.

Agreed! If my birds keep heading in the direction they are going, I am really going to have something good going here!
