I have never measured the back length of a chick, it relates well to the adult back length?Do you have a few longer backed girls? I would put him over them and retain only the chicks with nicer back length.
haha I should have said offspring. I don't think I'm quite awake yet! You can really start telling what kind of back length a chick is gonna have when they start getting to the 5 to 10 week range, just depends on how fast the line growsI have never measured the back length of a chick, it relates well to the adult back length?

I get a few chicks this color from Granite (EE) on my mostly white EE hen. So I am trying to figure out if one of these chicks hopped into the hatching basket of OE or CM that I got from you.
I guess I should ask--can I get a white down with a few blk spots from your OE or CM??

From my Olive Eggers yes.... I have a White Olive Egger. Not from the cukoos. This chick is not from my eggs. I have only ever gotten 1 white from my Olive Eggers and I thought she was Dominate white too. What color are the legs.... that should tell you something.... if not you will find out something when she lays.... if a pullet.
