Mating, But No Eggs

My Runner drake has been mounting with Pekin duck, who is a willing and bossy partner, but it's been more than two weeks and I haven't found a single egg. Is it possible that he's just matured faster than she has? Or should I be concerned about her?

He has probably just matured faster. Ducks can take longer then drakes.

Was she laying before she was getting mounted? Are they free ranging or confined?
If she wasn't laying, he's probably practicing. If she was laying & they free range, she probably has a hidden nest.

She wasn't laying before and they free roam during the day and are confined after sundown.

A friend suggested they were practicing or going at it for the fun of it and I was thinking surely they wouldn't be practicing this much. This morning they've both been very protective of a specific bush, so I suspect it won't be long.

She's roughly 5 months and the drake is roughly a week younger.

Same here and today my Pekin lady actually BEGGED to be mated so I'm expecting more eggs in 2 weeks!
