Ok I am getting bummed. I have Aussies and Polish chickens in lock down. Today is day 26 for the Aussies and 21 for the Polish and I dont have a single pip!

I might not have the best percentages with my hatches but really? 19 eggs and no pips yet?

Four absolutely darling, funny, adorable fluffies! I LOVE the feet - I've had chicks before but duckling feet are darling!

I think there's a black, a chocolate, a lavender/blue/lilac/silver (I think maybe blue, but not sure), and then the mostly-dark one is probably black. I love ALL of them! The lightest one is the oldest, and the dark one is the youngest.

One more is beginning to zip right now.

They are so adorable! I love your chocolate, and blue/lavender baby. They're all sweet looking! Have you starting holding them yet? I want to maul mine with love and attention so they know who mama is. lol

I'd like to join you all, but sadly my ducks don't want to lay for me In a darn molt! Kinda glad though, that way I can maybe show my drake in fall (He looked horrible!.... he HAD to molt... but the hens looked fine!)

Once they start laying (I have welsh harlequins... 1 drake 3 hens) I want to set somewhere around 3 dozen eggs and hold back 15 to 18 babies for my self But I have to wait for them to start up laying again! Will be reading on here though! Love hatching!!

Thank you all! They're even cuter this morning, and more fluffed out. I gave them some chick starter - at first they would try to eat it and then shake their heads because it wouldn't go down, I think. Then they realized that water would help.

Now the food is gone and the waterer is a little dirtier.

The fifth one hatched this morning - I'm about to get it out and quickly candle the unpipped ones to see what things are looking like.
