I expect I would. Subtitles have never bothered me. I used to watch a lot of French films to keep my French up but often the translations were so awful I was ranting about that more than I was watching the film. And I often watch Scandinavian stuff just for the scenery. None of my children will watch anything with me! I'm sure I could get it online. I'll have to have a look.

Did you watch The Bridge? That was excellent.

Callan - was that Edward Woodward? I think my parents watched that. I liked him in The Equalizer in the 80s.

Wow. Lots of TV. I was always a big fan of Morse. I would strongly recommend Homeland - but you have to be strong to cope with it given the true state of the world.

Yes. I liked it. It reminded me a bit of Wallander. And different scenery is always good. I've earmarked it so I remember to look for each episode.

One of my lads is a Homeland fan but it's never really grabbed me. I'm a terrible tv watcher. I'm usually doing something else @ the same time [like crochet] so I prefer shows with really, really good dialogue & not so fussed about action.
