Hugs. We used to get: Are they all yours? No~one needs that many children [even my father was guilty of this one] Have you worked out what causes it? & your IQ equals the number of kids. As I had more kids than he did I figure I'm way smarter than he is. People can be very rude but I figure a lot of time they've simply failed to engage their brain before opening their mouth!

And then you get criticised for only having one child, you can't win!

I've just been outside in a storm and the dark to put hens in boxes. Peggy has her pancreas checkup with Dr Hill in the morning and Ivy is tagging along for moral support and to also have a checkup although as far as I can tell, she's in good shape.

Maybe mine are weird. Correction, mine are definitely weird in many ways. But they snatched at it as I was putting it in my mouth. They don't seem to like the skin but they do pick off the stringy bits one the inside of the skin and nom nom down on the actual banana!

I had a feeling this bounty was on the way when yesterday was a rare "no eggs " day.

It was all over by 9am and noone called for an escort because they were already escorting each other, the little darlings

I'm sceptical about microwaved tea, but I'm willing to try it. I wonder how it will turn out.

Lol, “I will try anything once” and in desperation yes I have made tea with a microwave... it bears a bit better resemblance to the real thing than say a microwave lasagna dinner does to a proper one.

What is this microwave lasagna of which you speak!? O the horror!

If the worst they can say is that you have a mixed family and chickens, then you can take comfort in the certainty that you've lived a good life.

That is so true. If that is the best they got then you are in great shape and doing very well for yourself!
