More ducks dead and paralyzed. Botulism?

They did a necropsy and bird flu test it showed up negative. They are doing the culture to determine what bacteria was in the intestine since the poop was green.

Not getting enough food can cause green poop.

What lab did the necropsy?

But it was done at the Vets, & are sending a part of the intestines to a lab.

Ohhh.

Unless it was an Avian vet, I wouldn't trust a vet's necropsy.

I would contact your state lab and have a necropsy done.

It does sound like a toxin of some sort. What does their diet look like? How often do you clean feeders? Any chance they got to moldy feed or any sort of poison?

They are on pride products layer feed and free range. They're pools are cleaned every other day and I don't have feeders just give them it by throwing it.

Texas a&m and a vet. They eat plenty, they go threw a 50lb bag in two days.

Is there anything they could have eaten that had heavy metal in it? Lead paint on an old building, for example?

They're coop has some rust but that's it. No lead filters or pipes the paint has been lead tested.
