Update on my Flock:
They are just laying in the shade of their coop today. It is 28° and is starting to get hotter and hotter.
I now have 2 water containers going for them.

It is quite cool hey. We are still getting cold nights but hot days. Thank you lovely. I will be sure to keep you all updated

Roosting update:
Tonight 3 out of my 6 chicks roosted tonight with Hazel. The 3 that were down still was Chippy - Light Sussex, Licorice - Black Australorp and one of the Rhode Island Red pullets (Almond or Coco. They do have names but unsure how to tell them apart yet lol.
I wasn't home this arvo I was at a hockey game.

Weather update:
It is forecasted to rain for the next 3 days and on Sunday. I think it will rain 100% on Monday as we are having a dirt bike riding BBQ party. So I will keep you all posted on that.

Free Ranging:
My flock was able to free range for afew hours today whilst my partner and I were Gardening. They didnt really go out of the coop much just for short moments then back in. Hazel stays with them the whole time.

The neighbors dog came out of the bushland and was barking and growling at my partner today but Tank went at it and it ran off scared. Its so hard when people dont ensure their dogs or animals are watched or supervised if they are out of their own yard.
