Doing well for the most part. Lost one of my girls yesterday to lice, so I'll be treating the whole flock. Although I'm very confused. Checked a couple dozen other birds and not one had lice. How can one be totally infested and the others be clean? :idunno

Appreciation Post:
The other day I was walking through the produce store and I seen the fake eggs which I hadn't seen before but then I turned to my partner and said we don't need those and it dawned on me that Hazel has been absolutely amazing.
She just knew where to lay without needing prompting.
She has lasted all my chickens.
She comes to Jordan and I for help or if something is wrong.
She laid her first egg on the day that we were the most down in life.
She surprises me every single day.
She has laid on a daily basis.
If I have to tell the others to do something like yet out of the bush she tells them off or makes them do what I ask.
She embraced sharing her coop with the babies.
She cuddles us even when she doesn't feel like it just to make us happy.
I don't think she realizes how much I appreciate and love her. I tell her everyday.
And she has really made my job as a chicken mumma easier. 20181001_095834.jpg

Ohhh thats strange! Whats lice attracted to the most?
Do you have ash? Like leftover from a fire? Mix abit in their dust bath sometimes. Gets rid of lice apparently.
