Here’s my d’uccle x silkie crosses.
The rooster in front not the small hens.

These two are at my local feed store for sale (I donated) . They are really pretty in person. If they are still there tomorrow then I will take a picture because they have changed a lot.

I sold the grey and still have the black, and the roo. The rooster is the same from above a bit older now.

They're so beautiful!!! I love in the last photo , that lovely orange in the roo!
I'm also a sucker for beards, they look so good

Yes if you ever happen by that store again, please share new pics!

I'm doing lots of hatching this year, and the breeding is all done here. With that being said, I would love to share what the chicks come out looking like!

My main Rooster is a Light Brahma. He's a big boy and is over my 13 hens which includes: Easter Eggers, GLW, White Leghorn, Buff Brahma, Light Brahma, Dark Brahma, and welsummer.

I'm very interested in chicken genetics and breeding for feather colors. Majority of my chicks have been white with the columbia pattern in the past, but with a few new hens, I'm starting to see partridge in my current chicks.

Here are some pics of what I've got so far! (The chicks are currently a month old)

If anyone has their own mutts or mixed breeds, please feel free to share and let me know what the parents were!
Beautiful babies!

So nice!!!
You hatched a barred chick without having barred genes in your flock? If I understand that right, then that's pretty... Neat you just made your own barred! I'm still a newbie to genetics but crele may have had some influence maybe?
