Thought i would have a torch to candle him but unfortunately not, ive been using my phones torch! But im 90%sure hes dead, no movement at all. I had a good feeling about both of them as well, im devastated! :( just want to cry
Im so sorry! :hugs:hugs
Its hard getting them this far and losing them. I think most of us still feel that twing even after hatching for many years! But you did good! You gave them both more of a chance than they'd have had if you hadn't intervened. :love

I dipped his beak in some water and it cleared it, i had a bit of a freak out there lol! I will try get a good picture of my egg :)
That's a relief, i sleep better. At feeding time a damp paper towel was a must and i would wipe off stuff as soon as possible. Went thru two rolls of towels total, including for cage liner and lap protection.

Sorry for your loss but not your fault.:hugs

I suppose so but cant help feeling it was something i did :( maybe i opened it too much while i was helping the first one. Its crazy how attached you become, i am hoping for a miracle :fl
I seriously doubt you did anything wrong. I open my bators constantly and have had great hatches and horrible hatches. But either way, you did your best and thats all any of us can do. And i realize that doesn't stop the sad and frustration. .:hugs
Just know we understand

Thank you! Im going to try to get a couple hours sleep before next feed! Hope you all have a nice night :)
I think that's a great idea. You have to be wore out. It really can be mentaly, emotionally and physically exhausting!
I hope you sleep well! :frow:hugs
