Round.. which led me to hen. ‍

If those back feathers are round you have a female. My 5 month old Cochin has very obvious long pointed saddle feathers.
With the comb being as red as it is, I would say you'll have an egg before long.

Maybe check to see if it has spurs. A hen wouldn't have any, but at 7 months, it would have spurs by now if it's a cockerel.

Actually hens have spurs sometimes, so it's not really accurate to go by.

UPDATE!! I CAN CONFIRM CROWING, FINALLY! His attitude completely changed once he stsrted crowing. His voice deepened. Acting much moreike a cockerel. Thanks for everyone's advice!
