Your chicken is colored just like my Rodney was except for my boy being frizzled. I didn't know his exact breed but he was somewhere between standard and Bantam. My vote is male.

This is the first time I have had to figure out the sex of a chicken.
Maybe check to see if it has spurs. A hen wouldn't have any, but at 7 months, it would have spurs by now if it's a cockerel.

These pictures of my silver duckwing OEGBs. Since the saddle feathers are an easy way to sex most breeds I use these for a quick understanding. What would you say your chickens saddle feathers look like?

I'm no Cochin expert, but to me it looks like a female. I guess you will know whenever you might hear a crow or get an egg.
