November Hatch-a-long...

First half of the incubation time is so boring
No lie there! Hoping to see more joiners setting eggs soon!

My duck eggs are at day 7. This morning I candled. I assume ducks develop a touch slower than chickens? They all look good...veined and such. Several have little wiggles to the embyo and others are just happy looking tiny black spots lol.

My twins look great. Very clearly twins! Kinda trippy to see.

By what day do people weed out the no-go eggs when incubating ducks? I would imagine by day 10 if no viable, active embryo, it's time to remove from the bator?

I candled today, some development, a little bit of vein showing. The Silver Leghorns had the most development. this was about the 84 hour mark (3.5 days) I never candled this early but I was curious as to when they start showing. Not all of them showed development however, too early to tell which ones are duds or not but its a good time if you need to see some development to retain interest in the hatch.
