Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Pics
Looks like there should be a screen attached there. There are 4 screw holes. The company needs to find better help on their assembly line!

I just purchased this unit from TSC and called the manufacturer (Harris Farms/Mana Pro), they are sending me a fan cover to avoid this problem hopefully. The unit, for the price, is working great thus far.

Great thread, glad to see mfg checking in.

Yes, i believe they may be adjusting the design, or automatically adding the cover for future units, so you may have one that is ok (and for future readers of this thread)
Here's a pic of mine with the cover added on.

Wonder how they got that made so fast?

Only thing any sane person would do... quickly buy another incubator!!!
:lau:gig ....and this NR360 might be a good choice.

I read somewhere that the covers were supposed to be in the boxes, but as much as I've read on these, nobody got one. So....???
I also heard a rumor that it was already removed from the market. (or possibly dropped by TSC?)

Overall, I really do like this incubator, and their customer service acted quickly, which is downright awesome these days. I love my Brinseas, but for the money, this one is fabulous in my book.

I love the Nurture Right 360!
I'm on my third hatch and have a relatively great experience. 95% hatch rate is pretty darn good. I've also automated my humidity with a little water pump; I literally set up and walk away until lock down (without having to manually add water every day). I love the low maintenance, ease of use and digital display.

Regarding temperature, the unit has about a 1.5 degree difference between the core and the outer most sides. There is less heat at the core/center and more heat on the outer edges.

Regarding humidity, automating water input made it extremely easy to maintain constant and consistent humidity without blinking an eye. When you first start, add 5 ounces of water to chamber A and then add 4 ounces to chamber A daily. This will maintain humidity at 50%. Once you lock down, pour 6 ounces to chamber B daily. This will maintain humidity at 70%.

Regarding ventilation and airflow, it does the job; nothing fancy. I just wish it didn't sound like it was going to die all the time.

Enjoy! Cheers!

i was one of the first customers to purchase the NR360. I posted a few pages back on this thread about my chick getting her beak sliced by the fan. I emailed and the owner of Harris Farms called me the next day to discuss a possible solution. He had told me they would make a temporary fan guard for those who had already purchased and also change the design. That's how they got it made so quickly.

That's how they got it made so quickly.
I know they responded to your call for the need.
I was wondering how they actually got it fabricated so quickly.....
...usually something like that requires a mold which is not always a quick process.

ETA: Just recalled that the Incuview had this same issue, chicks getting nicked by the fan, they also quickly provided a replacement screen.
