Ahhh.... Glad it worked, not sure what they are thinking not having a way to open bators with one hand...Geesh, SMH.
Yes, mine is an Incuview.

Right? There are indentations on the top of this one, but my hands aren't big enough to grasp across the top like that. And I'd drop it for sure. I was sticking a fingernail in the joint where the lid meets the base. Your idea has saved a few chipped fingernails.

I just used it for the first time and I got 11/12 and the 12th wasn't fertilized. It was so easy to use.

High hatch rates every time in this one. Mostly 90%, couple 100%, only one was 15% due to human error...we messed the humidity up badly

I got one a few weeks ago and had to exchange it because the gauges were all messed up and not reading right. My new one was going better but I have noticed it doesn't count down the days. It just sits on 21 days. Am I doing something wrong?

From what I read unplugging it and plugging it back in resets the timer. So I’m pretty sure that if it’s plugged in it’s going to start the clock and count down the days. UNLESS you have pushed the Menu button and held it for 3 seconds. This is how you change the day timer. I would unplug it and plug it back in and see what happens.

Anyone have their 360 act like it has a short either in the power cord or the power input slot? I went a couple of months without using mine and when I plugged it up it wouldn’t come on without me pushing hard on the cord and won’t stay on when I remove the pressure. I found another 12 volt cord and with that cord the unit keeps cycling on and off quickly.

What you explain is not a short, but called "an open" Meaning electricity is not getting thru. Try cleaning the end that is giving you the problem. There may be something inside plug that is interfering with making a good connection. Is the wire at the plug damaged in some way? The damage can be hidden inside insulation, and not easily visible, unless you know what to look for.
Regarding the second power source that is causing the Quick cycling,,,,, There are 2 types of transformers that produce 12 volts. 12VDC, and 12VAC. They are not interchangeable, except if used strictly to energize a light. Even then, each is designed for a specific purpose.
I don't have your incubator, I am only offering advice related to electricity.

The latter I can’t speak to without comparing the plugs again. I will do so this evening.

As to the former, I did attempt to clean the male plug and the female port. If I got the replacement plug wrong by not being careful as to what 12v I used, then there is some hope that I just have a bad plug. If the power plug is bad, that ought to be an easy fix. A lot cheaper than a new incubator.
