You GUYS look at this incredible lavender egg from an OE at the Fourteen Acres Farm! Unbelievable bloom!

Shells that are more porous than others can appear blotchy like that.
I would suspect the upper 2 eggs are porous, the lower one looks like excessive bloom.
Candling the eggs would show the porosity.
Ah! I was just reading about a hen whose eggs regularly have dark spots that are thinner than the surrounding shell. Would that be a porosity issue as well?
