How's it going with hatch @Jules929

I ended up with 5 Blue Star chicks, 4 girls, 1 boy. Two light brahmas in the incubator, just in case, but I think they are late quitters.
I should have another dozen eggs shipping next week. I am hooked!

Those are so pretty! How lucky you are to get to keep hatching. I wish!

So this is my update and I could use some advice. Today is day 14 so I marked air cells. In my last hatch I think they were too small. This hatch I've been running humidity at 30% and they were perfect at 7 days. Now at 14, they look a little large. Do you think I should slow them down? What percentage would you choose for them these 4 days before lockdown?

Also...I laid my two remaining shipped eggs on their sides. Omg, I'm very nervous about this. My incubator turns very gently and I know from reading that the chorioallantoic membrane should be fully formed and well attached by now. The air cells look rock solid. I hope it works out.

For those who hatch bantams, what day do they usually hatch on? Do they tend to be a bit early?

I named my Blue Stars after Blues stars, lol. Bessie, Etta, Billie, Nina, and the little boy is B.B.
