Thanks. So I don’t need to do anything right now? I have some chick electrolytes that I bought just in case I run into something and I have been feeding it to them with a syringe. I hope that won’t hurt them. They seem strong and wobbling around.I know it’s strange. I can’t explain it. But in my hatches, I have seen it. The worst it was, it took until the third day for them to walk.
The yolk absorbed into their stomachs, giving them the food they need for about 3 days. So you don’t have to fret about them starving. Be sure they are not trampled, and breathe. I have yet to lose one.![]()
I really appreciate all your help. I feel so helpless right now but you are making me feel better. Thanks again.Electrolytes are great! Don’t be afraid of that. It’s Gatorade. Actually, some people use Gatorade for chicks.
Omg the most adorable thing I seen all day. Both of themBack in the day (three years ago), I was the number one poster on BYC for daily, weekly and monthly. I joked around a lot, but I also helped s lot of people with hatching questions. I had (and sometimes still don’t) no problem staying awake all night to keep someone calm during a problematic hatch, and coach with an assist.
As far as assisting, the child to my right assisted at 22 months. I told her what to do, and she did it.Though she wouldn’t eat eggs she saw me prepare for a month!

Here is a picture of all the chicks. You can see here how the chicks in question are sitting. You can tell is the the two small bantam. The other two are Araucanas. I know I should separate them but I don’t have a third place to put them. As soon as the other two finish hatching I’ll clean the area and transfer them.Back in the day (three years ago), I was the number one poster on BYC for daily, weekly and monthly.
