Thank you for noticing! Although few of those balls of various tans, khakis, and buffs were actually the same. I did have at least a partial skein of each of the four colors on the border and a full skein of white.
I was also very careful that the placement of the white round was the same on each motif, and each ended in a dark color, to tie it together and not look totally random. If you squint at it, there is method to the dark and light placements. I also went though that huge stash of yarn balls and limited this project to blues, purples, and yellows, with all the various shades of browns, from dark coffee through rust to almost peach.
