There’s nothing like a fried Oreo or a jumbo plate of loaded nachos to enjoy the fair to the utmost! When the fair comes to town, diets and self control go out the window…one of the best parts of the fair is the food vendors.

Who can whip up their favorite fair food? Fried butter anyone? Funnel cakes, fry bread or giant turkey drumsticks? Let’s see what you can make for the fair!

The Fair Food Contest is a judged photo contest.

  1. Entries must be homemade by the member posting.
  2. A photograph of the ingredients plus a photograph of the finished product is required.

Bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed Jalapeños. The Jalapeños are from my garden.

I cut the jalapeños in half and deseed them. Make sure you wear gloves and keep your hands away from your face. I cut off about a tablespoon of cream cheese and mold it into the jalapeño. I just cut the whole bacon package in half with scissors, it's the perfect size then to wrap them.
IMG_2580.JPG

I put foil down and lightly spray it with cooking oil before putting the wrapped jalapeños on the pan.
IMG_2581.JPG

I cook them at 425' in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
