Not cheap but I only have 3 ladies. They are still laying during winter and the eggs are perfect. Yolks are a fantastic deep orange.

I get our chicken feed and scratch grain from a local family owned feed store, Buzbee Feed. Good prices, good people, great service. 40 lb sack of 18% layer or all-flock for $12.50.

Right now I'm buying at tsc (im in mb, so it's still peavey mart). I'm buying it there since the feed stores right now are sold out around my area. Idk why they are sold out, but they are a bit more expensive. Maybe in the spring I'll drive out there in person to see the quality and experience of stores and maybe it will be worth it for bit more money.

I should have read the post before voting. Chicken feed from TSC. Purina Flock Raiser or DuMor starter/grower 20%, depending on availability. Cat food from the grocery. One cat seemed to be allergic to redacted but did well with redacted. I'm not changing her food.

Local feed store or occasionally TSC. I tend to prefer the local feed store as I would rather support the small mom and pops when I can, as long as the price is not insanely more expensive.

I buy feed at both TSC and Runnings Farm and Fleet. Runnings more frequently, but TSC sometimes too.
I buy Purina Flockraiser for all of my birds, and those are the only 2 places that carry it.

I just recently got a bag of Purina to try out as I heard some things about the Dumor and wanted to see what my results were comparing the two. At first I was thinking they actually prefer the Dumor but then today, was reminded that, ..god help if you are 10 minutes late feeding them, they'll climb all over each other, push, complain, and shove like they are starving to death...

Not sure if I ever specified all places I buy my pet food (I think I did, but here it is again):
Reptile food comes from Petco, Petsmart, or Petsense (whichever I’m closest to at the time).
Rabbit food comes from walmart
Cat food comes from Walmart
Poultry food comes from the feed store
Hermit crab & fish food comes from Walmart or either the pet store (depends).

I get my chicken feed from a local organic farmer. He mixes in extra protein and such when my flock needs it.
