Wow, 4 pages of posts in less than 24 hours.

I was very tired traveling today. We took the 4 and 7 year old boys down to see grandma at the farm and are spending the weekend there.

I feel part of my being worn out has to do with the huge fluctuations in the energy bubble within the Pagan thread today, and an unusually high external "pressure".

(Sorry if that sounds like a weather forecast

I need to ask who or what is Glenn Beck? Sorry don't do TV.. And never in my life had any interest in anything that involves a ball..

No offense to those that do like sports.

I guess my "man cave" is the chicken coop where I can go pat a fluffy butt or two and give my "girls" hugs and a kiss. After that go to the greenhouse to smell an orchid, sniff the lavender, check on the worm bins and tend the garden. (of course that is if I make it that far I might just wander off into the forest and soak in what I can)....... We spend quite a bit of time in the woods in early spring making Maple Syrup which is a great excuse to be with mother nature.

I find it interesting that Warlocks are few and far between, but Witches are much more common.. To me it appears many "gifts" flow through a feminine form.

What is your definition of a "Warlock"? I have always just felt I was a Witch not neccesarily a Warlock just because I am male... I am curious what others see them as..

Thanks Deb... I was really hoping that my post wouldnt offend or upset them.. I just felt it needed to be corrected that Junkanme was NOT affiliated with this thread.. I received an awesome PM from the OP of the christian thread after I had pmed him.. He seems like a very cool young man and even extended a hand of friendship to me, which was very awesome.. I also asked that he take a few minutes and read some of our posts. Understanding is a great step towards tolerance.. I truly hope he stops by.. I hope they are able to keep their thread open...

Once more I ask that we not respond negatively to the other religious threads.. We have created such an amazing plce here, that I truly dont wish to lose... This is the first thread I check on everyday and am so blessed by the amazing people that I have met here that (hopefully) I can consider my friends... Many Blessings To you All....

I agree about the other religion threads - though I would love to see a jewish thread, a muslim thread etc as I find cultures and beliefs fascinating. Though to be honest, not so much with the christian ones as I was raised pentecostal and therefore know what they're all about and can even understand 'christianese'. So generally I ignore those threads as I don't really tend to find much to learn from them any more. (I do pop in to read them from time to time though)

And I do secretly wonder what would be said if any of us were to say we were praying to the goddess in a thread on a non-religious problem being had by any of the more extreme christians... I'm always going to play with the "what-ifs" I think - doesn't mean I'll do it.

I don't mind anyone of any religion praying for me with a problem - all that positivity is going to help even if the people generating it don't se it that way.

also, I'm now half way through my pregnancy, still need help though as it's an extremely high risk pregnancy so if you should feel so inclined positivite energy, healing energy, prayers etc are something I'll be grateful for

You know what.... I am not sure of a definition!... Male Witch? I have never considered myself either.

I had another interesting event happen with my children. one of the books that I bought was an almanac that talks about the wheel of the year. I was reading some of the interesting facts about Ostara to my two daughters. They immediately wanted to help design some traditions to celebrate the day.

I suggested that we buy some spring flowers to set up on the altar in my bedroom. My daughters assured me that it was not necessary to buy any because they knew where a bunch of wild flowers were. So they picked some for my altar.

Considering that they still consider themselves Catholic, I thought that was very sweet of them.

My family is handling this much better then I thought that they would.
