Sorry, i am whacked out today. Maybe i need new drugs. Going to see a new Doctor tomorrow. Hubby got pulled over by the PO lice for passing 3 cars at once. Apparently that is not legal in VA on rural roads.

I’d pass 10 if they were going too slow. What is whacked out? Manic? Down?

Thanks! I sold them a few years ago, wish I could have kept them but they weren't a good flock fit.

I've had over 20 chook breeds, more if you count varieties.

I'm thinking about insulating the coop walls with cardboard, it works for hobos. We are getting a couple more nights in the teens and i don't want any more issues and I'm trying to avoid running anything fiery in there. Learned that a couple drops of food grade glycerin is supposed to keep the water from freezing, we shall see.

You could try newspaper too. They used to insulate houses with it. Newspaper is expensive here but maybe you could get some left overs from delivery.
