Official Squatch Watchers

Ever felt a silkie feather?
I have. Her feathers are soft in a different way. They are silky satiny.

Lilla hiding out .... with Frannie who was supposed to be her friend. (She could care less)

@Suzi18 I think they are sisters. Came from the same place and I think the same age. (If I remember correctly)
Yep I bet they are. Mine is so funny.....She protests loudly whenever I touch her or pick her up but never tries to run or get away. She just enjoys b***ing.....or should I say tatering

Frannie is a sweetie for the most part. She the smallest in the flock and likes to hide by me when I’m in the coop. I’ve put up special food dishes for her and she waits for me to fill them. Doesn’t mind a snuggle here and there.

I went to the coop to close pop doors and i took slop soup out for them, still hot. Chicken livers, an egg, pork chop, rice, corn, noodles ...pizza crust and beef fat from cooking a bone for the dog. They love it.
Sanded some boards for signs, cut a new perch for the coop. Their feet have grown.

You're always so busy. I feel lazy since I'm laying in bed in my jammies already

Baby chicks are cute, but they make me worry. I really enjoy when they are grown, have their personalities and are not so skittish.
