Hello all.

Wow, you've been busy this afternoon.

My FIL informed me that all 51 of the chickens in the main paddock decided to crowd into 1 of my of the mobile coops and ignore the second one completely (this is the one we just repaired). I must be raising clown chickens. That coop is only 25 sq ft. I have a little over 1 sq ft of coop space per bird. I know this isn't "ideal" but they are in a 7000 sq ft paddock and have day shelters to spread into as well. They very often crowd in close enough that it looks like the coops are half empty. They seem pretty content. I'll have to see tomorrow if there are any issues that are causing them to not want to use the second coop.

Eta, sometimes the 2 cats sleep on the other side.

Me too!!! I use to let a small dog or two in the bed, but they were messing with my sleep.
