I lived! Tonight is my last night so I'll be back here running my mouth in no time. I'm giving my check "aka bribe money" to the woman I'm covering for she had to have a tata removed and can use it way more than me. I'm no public worker anymore guys I'm just too dang old and cynical....and totally out of the groove.

He appears to have fallen and can't get up.

Have a bear sighting here and there around me. Luckily I've never seen tracks, let alone that close to my birdies.

Only got the one egg today but I'll take it. It had clearly been pushed around the box so other girls must have checked it out. Hopefully they will make a deposit in the next few days.

Have an appointment to see a house tomorrow. It was listed and the price dropped in a few days. No pictures have been put up so I have no idea what the inside looks like. Has had one owner so I'm hoping it needs some cosmetic updating and that's it. Then the question of if I can bring my chickens needs answered. Zoning here is hit or miss. I swear they put a map up and threw darts to decide.

New additions below. When I got home from picking up son from school, there was A LOT of hen chatter going on!!! Buffy (BC) is instigating a lot of fighting through the fence. She is the mean one to the Youngens. Taterhead! The Newbies fluff up like peacocks at the little doggies. SMH. The Newbies are so gentle and seem to have a good personality.
And Yeti and hearts in his eyes at first glance!

Lol! Well most of the time i am. I'm scatterbrained as crap though, lost my phone so i called it from the house line and followed the turtle love sounds....id had locked it in the coop,poor chickens.

As I sat there and watched them this evening, I thought “what have I done?” Please, for the love, tell me y’all have thought the same thing!!!!

I think she said the black and wheaten had lived together and blue was separate. I thought there was going to be blood between the Wheaten and Black one at roosting time. Then the blue one was relentlessly head pecking at the wheaten too. It seems they finally worked it out. Oh taterheads.

I don't have a "real" landline it's too expensive I've got the barest bones Vonage plan it's 19 dollars but since it looks like an actual phone and works better than my cell I'm happy with it.

I miss having a landline. I cannot call my phone to find it I think we are get scatterbrained as we age. I think it is necessary.

I'm noticing a trend in the week I've worked. The residents that were there before i took my hiatus have obviously been spreading the word about me lol! I've had alot of them wanting to come into the office and talk and about ten or so minutes into session i hear "do you mind if i smoke?" They're not supposed to but they're basically palliative care so i let them. I've went through almost a half a carton and i personally have three a day. Those oldsters have found a sucker.
