So, news on the chick bullying.

I haven't seen any fighting today.

I went out earlier to get a closer look at them. The bullied chick seems to be doing fine. No fresh blood, cuts healing well. However, the bully's right eye was crusted shut. When I got my hands on him I could see a tiny bit of his eye. I gently pried the lids apart and his eye is fine. It looks like he had cuts on his eyelids that fused together in his sleep. Other than the healing battle wounds from yesterday, everything seems to be fine. I'll be keeping a watch on them though.
 
I'm glad I got around to banding all my older leghorn hens. I have a hard time telling some of the freshly molted ones from my pullets.

Potbellies are a good way to get used to working with them, but in smaller packages.

I want Guinea Hogs eventually.
We had 3 females. No trouble at all, only escaped like twice. Not aggressive, but then we never bred them.
