I wanna go to RJs and have him teach me hands on... in the meantime, I too will be 100% internet taught. I had asked the neighbor if HE could teach me.... him being a hunter and a farm boy and all.... he gave me the MOST quizzical look, asking how the hell would HE know... he'd never processed a chicken!!! :gig but they raise chickens.... of course, this is the neighbor whose chickens continually get carried off by predators....

With a little bit of internet research, I think I would be game to try anything up to a small pig. My parents are talking about setting up a slaughter area in their garage with water and sink! They are also planning for a summer kitchen out there as well.

I'd LOVE one of those things but I don't raise enough birds to justify one yet.

It still remains to be seen if I can actually do the deed with my non SOP PCs... they're so big and gentle. I don't wanna. :hit

Anyone want half a million roosters? :gig

Tell them to build a pizza oven in the out door kitchen.
They will love it!
