KIDDING.... just tagging my spot so I know what I need to read up to... busy day, kind or not worth the trouble at TSC, I'll fill y'all in tomorrow.

KISSES!!!
Ugh! Looking forward to that update.
Dang I’m sorry it wasn’t as supercalafrajalistic as you’d hoped.

I'm bushed. My SIL and I spent most of the morning planting several different types of squash, cabbage, strawberries, melons, spinach, zucchini, etc. My Dad, DH, and my FIL got most of the 6' fence put up around the garden. They need an extra roll of fencing. We managed to plant the first 3 rows. Now I'm sunburned and exhausted.

I just have to say, I love using a post hole digger for planting.

Nap time!

Good morning everyone have a great Mother's day:frow

Happy Mother’s Day to you too @MrsMistyReal and all the other ladies in our group.
You don’t have to have kids to be a mom.
Thank you this is so true
If you have furry, fuzzy, featherd, fishy, you're a Mama
If you fed ,clothed , sheltered, taught, comforted, listened, nursed, laughed, loved, your a Mama
@staceyj thank you for pointing this out :love

I vote no Sammy, unless your run is seriously built like Fort Knox.
I guess you have to weigh the consequences.
What is the purpose?
Is it a time saving measure?
Would it be permanent?

How long would it take you to start from scratch and rebuild your entire flock?
And what would the cost of rebuilding be?

Help me understand by giving me a reason.

I live in a regular neighborhood and there’s been all kinds of wildlife activity just the past few weeks due to land clearing. Another dang neighborhood they had to squeeze in, just because, is being built behind the houses on the street behind me.

God forbid there be a halfdozen acres of trees somewhere in this city just minding their own business, making oxygen for us to breathe.

These trees were good neighbors too. They weren’t threatening to fall on anyone’s homes. They weren’t bothering a soul.
Now they’re all gone except for three “grand specimens” they kept at what will be the entrance.

I’ve seem 3 opossum and two different foxes in about a weeks time.

I feel sorry for them being chased out of their habitat, but they are looking a little desperate. Their world has changed.

I’m reminded that these animals are very resilient and adaptable to urban dwelling and that they were there all along, probably no more than 1/10 of a mile from my coop as the crow flies, I just didn’t see them, because all their needs were being met in their little woodland world.
Sad isn't it? Part of the reason we left FL.
