Official Squatch Watchers

Moles are pretty big, and stinky! Cat brought one in and it was gag worthy. They are among the few things the cat or the girls won't eat.

I was thinking the same except for the buff orp
The comb looks too big for a pure BO cockerel that young. Looks like a mix.

Ok I was thinking it was a great price for a friend. Everyone else would pay 50$for a dozen except you guys
You might do a little investigating and see what the going rates are in your area but $50 doesn’t seem unreasonable to me. Pure breed eggs with good fertility go for $3 or $4 per egg in my area.

Sam..... Are these your black cochin eggs?

I wish I had one or two just going broody. These girls have sat a long time already and refuse to be broken.

By the by these broody Australorp are from Strombergs hatchery. I am quite pleased with them.

Yay for Rae! Spring time is for babies! :wee Don’t you want some too Henny? ;)

You know I do.

I must restrain myself. I still have 27 hens even with my losses this spring.

My coops are pretty full. :barnie

Um yeah I forgot that in my excitement over the broody. :p I have decided broodies are wondrous and amazing. Even mine who is kinda dumb
They are wondrous and amazing, especially this one. Last fall, she hatched 10 out of 10 eggs that made it past the first week (2 eggs had weak shells and broke) and she mothered the babies until 15 weeks.
