She is yanking feathers from my other birds.

My poor giant blue cochin is looking more like a naked neck, my Barnavelder is being plucked on her back as is my other giant blue.

I saw her pulling feathers.

She may have to live alone in my broody coop. :(:(

Try isolating her a bit and upping her protein. Sometimes feather picking can be a shortage of protein.
 
Yes I need to do that Rae..

They will all get scrambles in the morning. Normally I would be mixing fish in the mash once a week. I ran out and thought they could do without it. I thought wrong. I will get more fish tomorrow.

Not only would she be tough as taters but there would only be enough for a cup-o-soup.

This is a new thing for her. Today only in fact. I am hoping to nip it quick.
 
I went through and candled some eggs. Tossed 2 CCL, but the rest go on lockdown tomorrow! Some guinea eggs quit, and quite a few polish were pulled. Maybe 9 hens is too many for him. Last time i incubated their eggs they were all fertile.
Anyway, i had a taxing day helping hubby and collecting 5 wagon loads of kindling. Then i tended fire all evening.
 
I just had a horrible dream that woke me from a sound sleep. I dreamed that a bunch of coons got in my parents’ garage and the Milk Drinker walked up to them
saying “dog-dog” and tried to pet them. I didn’t stay asleep to see more.
