If it only took a weekend that’s a miracle!
I just showed the pic to DH and said
“Mud pit. Dead grass.
We should do this.”
The prep work was the hardest. Skimmed off the little bit of grass that was left, put down a black weed barrier cloth, layed large decorative rock around the whole thing as a border to hold in the pea gravel. We live on a limestone base here in Sandusky So we were lucky enough to have good size lime stone pieces already here. A pile of them from 30 years of digging them up in the garden beds.Then put down 68 bags of pea gravel. Probably why DH is having hernia surgery next week. :(
