Am I sorry? Not in the least :celebrate:lau:gig:lau:gig:gig:gig

@21hens-incharge Love the interview. Best part... the great mouse mob scene.

Gurtrude has finally decided she needs to work on a new wardrobe, after 18 mos. She's looking pretty ragged, so it's about time :he:thLizbeth is trying to go broody, but all she has is her hay and her own fluffy butt to try to hatch, so she's not being impossible, just complainty. Holy cow, though, the poop pile she creates when I get her away from her "nest":eek::eek::barnieShe poops bigger than the 2 small dogs do combined! I didn't know such a small thing could make such a big plop in one go, it's bigger than a grade A jumbo, and she lays small to mediums.:confused:

Anyhow, :hugs:hugs:hugs:love:love:love to everyone, and see y'all later.

:lau Hilarious post, from start to finish  :highfive:

I need to get some of that stuff. I do wash right away if i think i touched some. Problem is , there is more than one type i am allergic to. I am wearing gloves more. But i am doing a lot of planting and weeding so crap happens.
Raid your husbands closet for old dress shirts with long sleeves.

Who was it who was talking about chicken enrichment items for their run this week?

Xylophone was on the list I remember, because I almost commented on the post, “don’t bother, I have one they never touch it”

Then today I was sitting on the porch watching the rain and at first I didn’t notice the noises. I looked over and
Dolly was all by herself over by the run working the whole percussion section.

DONK. DONK. DINK.
DINK DINK DINK.
PLINK!
PLINKLPINKPLINK!
DONK. DONKDONK. DONK.

she wasn’t pecking at bugs or anything. She was amusing herself whacking the metal trashcan that holds their feed, on its side then the top then the side some more, then the xylophone that hangs next to it on the outside of the run then back to the trash can.

She was definitely comparing them.

I need cowbells! And some good sounding windchimes!
Did you see the thing where they put feeder fish in a kiddie pool for their chickens to eat? It sounds interesting, but I sure don't want a puddle full of fishies if they don't want them/ can't catch them.

Our spring turned into summer with a fury of 90-95 degrees days. Usually that is July weather
Same here. Stupid Ohio.
