7 of 8 safely hatched! I left the last egg just in case but I think it’s an early quitter. Not bad for a first time broody. (Who kept getting pestered )

I just snorted milk and corn flakes up into my sinuses. I think I inhaled a little bit too.

I have a bedtime snack of corn flakes (gluten free) and fruit that I share with the Milk Drinker.

I had the Milk Drinker on my knee so I could feed him. I was trying to drink some of the milk from the bowl when I see two pudgy hands come over the edge of my bowl, pull it down to mouth level and he puts his mouth on the side and starts trying to lick the contents of the bowl.

I started laughing, and the rest... you know.

Did i mention there are 25 more turkey eggs that may hatch? 115 quail, and unknown multitudes of guinea eggs. Chicken eggs, quail eggs, mountain quail eggs and pheasant eggs.
But it looked like your hens were busy!

You SELL all these poultry correct?!?

Maaayyybe. I was so worried about her. She didn’t seem to mind me checking on her. I’d hand feed her and give her drips of water on her beak. She even had chicken visitors. (My lowest ranking hen liked to sit with her.)

I just candled the eggs I have under my broody. Today is day 10. She has 10 developing eggs and I removed one infertile egg.
