What is Bubbles? I question my Cuckoo Marans cause they look like every other black and white barred bird... I guess I’ll find out when they lay eggs.

LF cochin, you just can’t really see her fluffy glory in the pic. Aside from Cochins though, all barred birds look the same to me . How old are your marans? I am rooting for those first eggs!

Not sure exactly. I picked them up April 28th. They were pretty close to fully feathered but hadn’t been put out with the rest of the flock. So my guess is about 3 months. They are starting to get red in the face but no squatting.

This was June 14th. I started referring to them as The Sanderson Sisters. They are always together and very dinosaur like. I had dubbed one of them Gladys after her escape went south into a Glad trash bag. But I honestly can’t tell them apart.

Put up a photo at "what breed or gender is this." I don't think they are BR's, the legs look white or very pale, no feathering on them either (so maybe not marans),straight combs like a Cochin but................
