I originally set the Milk Drinker in the playpen. I have the side unzipped so he can get out and come to me when he wakes. He rolled out on the hotel carpet last night. Don’t worry, I put him back.

Hope everyone is doing well... sorry for the lost LH Rae. I also hope everyone in the household has gotten over their illnesses.

We are all getting better now, thanks! I'm 95% recovered except for some mucus issues. DH and the Milk Drinker are getting better too.

I ordered one from this website. It is a European style scythe that weighs a fraction of what an American style does. I haven't really tested mine out yet on appropriate height grass though.

I bet your critter is either very tall or coming underground.

I think I will go with chicken wire and wood for my melon.

I am fencing with 2 foot chicken wire around each raised bed.

My garden is going gangbusters. We've already gotten a couple 2 ft long zucchini and some cukes and tomatoes. One of our rows of corn is already pushing 6ft high. The only things we are having trouble with are cabbages and leafy greens, although I think I planted them too late.

The bugs are into the greens, i planned to feed most of it to the chickens anyway.

I lol Rae. My corn is a replanted thing too. It's short at MAYBE 18".

It's been a rough start for my garden this year.

We are weeks from red matersmaters. If I get a handful of beans I will do a happy dance.

What zone do they list you as? We are supposedly zone 5 but really more of a zone 4.
