Sooo.... I spoil my chickens. I know this. But someone gave me a left over pumpkin pie... other then the sugar factor is there a reason 15 chickens can't finish off some pumpkin pie?

Good Morning everyone! Today is a lovely day, if cloudy and damp at the moment. Next week starts my new schedule! In order to keep my benefits next year, I need to work more than 30 hours a week. This isn't a problem as I have been working between 27 and 35 hours anyway. But it was unpredictable which days would be slow and which days would be busy. So I worked a compromise. I will have Mondays off and work a full time schedule the rest of the week. I think that will make things easier for me in the long run. Also, it will make taking weekend trips easier. I had been "taking off" Mondays to travel when we would go somewhere on a weekend, but now I will regularly have them off. YAY!!!

Maddie is deaf and half blind, she probably didn’t know she was in a cage. And with a tin if tuna, I don’t think she cared. She is always around the chicken coop. Between cleanings and all the chicks, there has been spilled food and she eats it up. She will hang out forever if she doesn’t realize I have left snd gone back in the house.

Good luck Ruby! Probably too late for a hot shower, but warm liquids will open things up and help. Avoid milk and sugars, it will make it worse.

I also vote for Mucinex. The generic name is guaifenesin. It will thin the mucus and will clear your throat and chest. Just as an option.
