Honey cycleI wanted something that would still offer a screen in winter. Someone suggested bean because they grow so fast but then I'd have bare fence with brown stuff on it once it snows.
I'd love to do passion flower and may just try it anyway. Supposedly there are varieties that will survive here if planted in the ground and covered before snow.
I have a few BC chick cockerels that I can send you to join themI’d like to rehome the boys but if not someone will process them. There are 3 pure breeds so I may try to get a little money for them but if not they have to go. I certainly can’t have 6 roosters!
If anyone wants them let me know. Hint hint![]()
Pretty!

Banty checks in and I get an add about Candian Pot. LOL
Excellent points. My ex was on Effexor and stopped taking it b/c he didn't like the 'sexual side effects' (it was cutting into his adultery, I guess). I think he went back and got something else, but after a while he 'felt better' and stopped taking it. Sigh. Seeing a dr is very important.Respectfully here to say...SSRI's like Prozac and Zoloft DO take awhile to build up in your system. They can take 2-6 weeks I believe to start seeing changes and come up to a therapeutic level. These are not drugs you want to discontinue abruptly; you have to wean off them, and you do have to give them time to work.
Keeping in close contact with your doc is key, as there are alot of annoying little SE's you can get from them.
ETA: Saying this as a nurse (what I would tell my patients) and also, as someone who's been riding the Crazy Train for oh, like 20+ years, lol! Prozac is my Vitamin P, ha. But it's kept me alive and somewhat happy, and for that I am very thankful.
SSRI's (like most meds) can be good, and they can be bad. And sometmes you have to try different meds--or combinations of meds--to get a winner. Like I said, close communication with your provider is critical.
There are so many good meds out there, nobody should suffer depression and/or anxiety without giving meds a chance anymore. Yes, behavioral therapy works to an extent, but if you've got messed up/wonky brain chemistry, then you need dem drugs! Kinda like how a diabetic needs insulin. Meds can be a lifesaver. And I mean that in quite the literal sense.
Just my .02...
Those fires are scary! I keep seeing sad stories on the news. Is there any chance they'll come your way? I'm just going to let everyone know what an idiot I am and say that when they kept talking about the Carr fire, I thought they meant a car fire started the whole thing. smh...@Smuvers Farm Love you, chica. Take good care of yourself, ditto to what everyone else said, and I'm up late if you ever want to talk.
That goes for everyone, I'm on the west coast, in the one state without numerous, huge wildfires and outrageous heat, and am up till 3 a.m. most nights, which is 6 a.m. for y'all eastern folk.
to all.
I spend a lot of time checking here, first thing when I get up, multiple times a day, and before going to bed at a totally (un)reasonable time of darkness. Y'all are my favorite people, and my days are always made brighter when y'all are around. A rouge chicken brought us together, so I propose a toast to that chicken, as a thank you for giving cause for us to come together as a bunch of crazy, beautiful, caring weirdos. 'To the original Squatch, thanks for shaking your tail feathers, your antics grabbed the attention of some really cool people that would never have become the wonderful group of friends that were are now. Thank you.'
HI!! I need to know how much snow you still have up there.Gross. My ducks lay their eggs under the roosts, so it's always dangerous collecting them at night.
Hi squatchers! It's been ages since I popped in here. Hope you all are doing well. Big hugs to those that need 'em.![]()
pretty soon you won't need any fancy canadian pot b/c they started planting at the new pot growing place near here. I haven't seen anything about how they're going to issue cards to people.View attachment 1489076
