I kind of believe I've become more *sensitive* to animal sightings since I've gotten chickens. I notice the rabbits around our home... deer back in the woods... and even the dead deer that I previously wouldn't have.... like, I doubt I would've noticed the Brat Pack if I hadn't already had chickens. It always amazed me when a BYCer would find a random chicken while they were out and about town... thinking *yeah, that'll NEVER happen to me*.... and here we are!!!

We missed you I was in Mexico for the month of July I had a great time. Did you go on a cruise?

I made the first account because I have a Samsung Galaxy phone. I don't use it for much so making a whole new account would be more crap I have to deal with.

I had an account that the deer showed up at all the time. A herd! Mammas with spotted babies all grouped together. Then there was the "Band of Bucks". An entire herd of bucks that all hung out together. It was the neatest thing to see. 10 bucks having dinner at dusk.
 
I thought that too but fake name, no addy, one captcha and boom done! Not going to lie, i was expecting pure jump through flaming hoops hades but nope. :)

I never search anything on Instagram.

I think is was last Saturday I spotted a dead deer in our lower yard. She had been hit by a car and ran a hundred+ yards. The blood was still bright red so it happened in day light before lunch. It makes me sad, because her group will miss her. Don’t you think they grieve or wonder?

I have a friend in va who's neighbor raised an orphaned fawn. On their road the properties range from small to large farms.
Lots of hunters hunt at night without permission on private property.
They posted signs and
They put an orange dog collar on him (the reflective kind for hunting dogs) and they spray painted his antlers with road marking paint in an effort to keep him safe.
Next time I'm up their i'll inquire about him.
